My research areas include conflict resolution in intra-state armed conflicts, peace processes, rebel groups, weak states, post-war peace building and democratisation. From 2014, all my ongoing research projects are located at the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI).
I am Programme Director for the Sida-funded International Training Programme on Peace and Security in Africa (PASA).
