DPCR Alumni Association – General Meeting 2021

Do you enjoy connecting with people interested in Peace and Conflict? Do you like participating in networks that seek to share contacts, knowledge and experience globally? What about supporting the growth of a like-minded community of internationals?

If these possibilities excite you, then consider running for a position on the Board for the DPCR Alumni Association 2021-2022 at the General Meeting!

On Thursday 3 June at 17.00 CET, elections for four Board positions will take place at the General Meeting on Zoom (no personal account needed – details for the meeting will be shared through email to alumni members 1 week beforehand).

As a Board member, you will have the opportunity to be creative, build your networks as well as others whilst you facilitate the continuing growth of the DPCR Alumni Association. The following positions are available: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. For further details about these positions, as well as the meeting agenda, please see the attachments. Only members of the DPCR Alumni Association are eligible to run for these positions. To join, go to: https://pcr.uu.se/alumni/about-us/. If you are interested in running for a position, nominating someone for a role or have any questions, we encourage you to contact us beforehand at: dpcr@alumni.uu.se

All members are welcome and encouraged to attend the General Meeting, during which you can vote for whom you would like on the Board for the coming year. After the meeting, you are invited to stay and mingle (via Zoom) with other alumni and the newly elected board. This is an excellent opportunity to talk to the board and share your ideas and expectations on the association!

Lastly, a brief reminder to those who haven’t yet but wish to be included, please send in your updated class note here:https://forms.gle/5DiCFqNsbuEpqxiFA

We hope to see you in June!

Best,

DPCR Alumni Association
